Do I Need My Makeup Artist/Hairstylist to Stay With Me on My Wedding Day?
Even with great skin prep & finish, long lasting, airbrushed makeup, and professionally styled hair, a long day like a wedding it may eventually call for a little freshening up. For the day of the Wedding, some brides choose to hire me or my team for extra time; during the photo session, after the cocktail hour, before the first dance or throughout the entire night.
After the initial set of makeovers, I will arrive at your venue or photo location, for on-site touchups or setup a small, discreet station in your bridal suite or designated location for your change of look or touchups for you and your bridal party. I can also bring one of my professional team members.

“Ali By My Side” is a Luxury Concierge Service I offer to clients looking to change a look, or are concerned about touching up throughout the long day. If you'd like to book me for additional time, I charge $100/hr, with a 2 hour minimum, that begins at the completion of initial makeovers and first round of touchups (Before Photography begins). I will work with you, your bridal party, the photographer, making sure everything and everyone is perfect, touching up hair, makeup and wardrobe as needed, as well as an all around assistant to you and your bridal party. (I have hand-stiched wedding gowns, mended hems and even put band-aids on tiny boo-boos.)
But this is also a great opportunity to change up your look! More frequently these days, brides are switching into 2nd and 3rd dresses throughout the day, and want a new hairstyle, or more dramatic makeup look to go with their new wardrobe change. If that’s not your thing, even just putting your feet up for a few minutes while we are freshing your curls and touching up your lips, can make you feel relaxed and recharged for your reception.
Due to high demand, I do not offer intermittent services. When clients wish for me to stay to provide touch ups at a later point in the day, my hourly rate of $100/hr applies from the time of completion the final person’s makeup and any and all touch ups before the photography begins.

ON SITE TOUCHUPS
I can change locations with you throughout the day! If you are going to a park or different venue for your photos, I will arrive at the location and work on-site, as well a set up in your bridal suite when you arrive at your reception. It’s all up to you, and I work with each bride individually to create a fluid and easy schedule for the entire wedding day.
